Lionhearted Events was born out of a movement in the wedding industry to embrace individuality over traditional norms. Gone are chair sashes and banquet halls, in are unique locations and personalized touches that make your day truly shine. Here at Lionhearted Events we strive to plan and execute weddings that are truly reflective of each individual client. By incorporating our knowledge of design trends and logistics with your impeccable taste, we work together to produce a vibrant celebration of your love story that feels uniquely ‘you’.
You can be confident in our ability to deliver the very best to you on your wedding day! Our deep understanding of the event industry and our extensive wedding planning experience has helped our team produce over 250 celebrations and counting! After a stint on the political scene she found her true passion was for planning and designing unforgettable events! Grace is a Certified Wedding Planner through the University of Georgia and after working under some of the country’s premiere planners she founded Lionhearted Events in 2015 and is now putting her own creative stamp on the wedding scene!
When she's not planning weddings you can find Grace chasing around her goldendoodle Liberty or scheming about her next vacation!

Haylie is a native New Yorker turned Lakeview transplant and has served as a Wedding Planner for Lionhearted Events since 2019. Haylie’s background is in stage management and event production but her passion is for all things creative. Her larger than life persona and get shi* done attitude makes her perfect for coordinating chaos and making sure everyone has an amazing time on your wedding day.
Fun fact, Haylie lives across the street from the bar where we planned a surprise wedding in 2017 (Cody’s) and you can find her there, hanging out on the back deck with her long time boyfriend when the weather is nice! Also, during college she worked at Disney Orlando so if you’re a fan I’m sure she’d tell you all about it!
Hailing from West Town, Anna’s laid back demeanor coupled with her cool girl style makes her one of the most sought after members of the Lionhearted team. Anna joined us from the great wide world of catering which makes her a huge asset in when planning rentals and F&B, but where she really excels is her keen eye for design. Chances are if design is your number one priority and you’re getting married in Chicago, Anna will be your planner! She has worked with Lionhearted Events since 2019 but has been in the world of weddings long before!
When she’s not working weddings you can usually find her playing with her dachshund or hanging around the Square.
Favorite Venue: tie between Ovation and Thalia Hall
Nicci is a St. Pete stan and has served as a wedding planner with Lionhearted Events since 2018. Nicci came to us from the great wide world of radio and concert production - if you're a fan of alternative music and you've gone to any station sponsored shows around town, chances are you've already had some first hand experience with her handiwork! She's big into logistics and not afraid to take on anyone who gets the way of your perfect day!
Always stylish but not quite the girly-girl, you can usually find Nicci at Buddy Brew pounding out emails, or sipping on bourbon around town with the gals.
Dream Wedding: Historic theater (music background, duh!) - black leather - all the velvet
A true Tampa native, Heather is an amazing resource for all things local and hip! Her detail oriented nature and her 10 years of wedding and event experience make her our go - to for all couples who are looking to bring their visions to life. A self proclaimed perfectionist, Heather is a Type A bride’s dream so don’t ever worry about overloading the details!
When she’s not working weddings you can usually find her kayaking, road tripping, or honing her culinary skills!

Sarah is a sweet southern girl turned Big Apple resident and served as a Wedding Planner for Lionhearted Events since 2017. Formerly a florist and by far the most feminine of the Lionhearted team, she'll talk your ear off about peonies all day if you let her. She may have gotten into weddings for all things pretty but her knack for details and ability to charm the socks off of even the most stubborn of vendors (or maybe even future mother in laws?) makes her a great asset to any wedding.
When she's not submersed in the wedding world you can usually find her running around the park with her German Shepard, Rossi or crying over the pork belly benedict at The National (literally, she cries).
